The sad thing is that them don't even realize just how sad them behavior was. Then again, we are all responsible for we actions and we choose to act the way most of we do.

This man in my office told us today that in the U.K. it is very natural for people to laugh at other peoples disabilities and even beat them up, which is why visitors would very seldom see people with disabilities mixed in with the general public. I don't know how true that is cause I've never been there.

He has red hair and said that at 16 yrs old, he was suicidal because of the name-calling, the jeering and the butt kicking him had to face on a daily basis, just because of the color of him hair. Me think him was telling stories cause me no believe that one.

You mean not being mean to her anymore. Based on them reaction,I doubt them were feeling sorry for her.

She was unemployed and people still expected her to step out like a millionaire. There is a reason why they all got it so dramatically wrong.

But you know what I loved about it all was that she didnt even flinch at others reaction to her. She kept her chin held high and her sense of self intact even with the jeers before she started singing.

Kudos for her for that

because nuff ppl with a better physical looks are far more insecure than she is.

This is why she's getting so much support me believe (apart from the beautiful voice) because she represents so many with no voice or lacking the confidence to stand up there.

Me proud of her to death too. She is sure of herself because she believes in herself and knows her ability to &quot;rock&quot; them. She let them make a fool of themselves in the guise of making a fool of her. She played them and I love it!

but most ppl dont develop that thick skin and become shrinking violets, so I still feel it is fairly impressive her sense of self.

Believe it. People are cruel. No one moreso than school children. Sad thing is they learn that behavior from their parents.
